This exquisite cup and saucer Set features hand-painted "Dresden" flowers in assorted colors on white porcelain with offsets of gold. The flat cup is decorated with hand-painted flowers and the letter "M" on the one side of the cup.. A hand-painted floral band along the top area on the cup with gilt gold trim.. Will also notice the cup with some flower buds decorating the interior of the cup...

A slightly scrolled handle decorated with gold. The saucer has the scalloped gilt gold rim with hand-painted reticulated floral band and offsets of gold.. Approximate sizes: The Cup - 2 3/8 inches tall by 2 1/8 inches top rim diameter - holds approximately 3 ounces.. The Saucer - 4 7/8 inches scalloped gold rim diameter.

Backstamped: the red shield with yellow lion and trim. ROYAL BAVARIAN' above'DRESDNER ART','SCHUMANN' and'MADE IN BAVARIA' below..

Light signs of previous use sh. Ould be expected consistent with age and previous ownership.... This rare and antique hand-painted porcelain set is in mint condition - free of chips, fleabites, cracks, hairlines, stains, crazing or surface markings, stains - Slight to none on the gold wear - any imperfections seem to be craft related only. Just re-package in its original packaging materials, box and insured (or similar in size).. The items I sell are vintage, antique pieces and have been previously owned - these are not new store bought items... I also do my best to give detailed information on the vintage items. Keep in mind they are vintage (old) and will have flaws. If item is damaged, SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS and BOX for photo taking..
