Watrous Manufacturing is a division of International Silver Co. Thus, manufactured in about 1942.
The six porcelain liners measure 2 inches height and 2-1/8 inches diameter at the lip; they are 3/4 inch diameter at the base. The sterling silver cup holders measure 1-7/8 inches height and 1-7/8 inches diameter at the top. The bottom is 1-7/16 inches diameter, and the narrowest "waist" part of the cup holder is 7/8 inch diameter. The handle measures 1-1/2 inches height from the top to the lowest portion of the handle.
The cup holders have the Watrous "half moon and W" logo and "STERLING PP 1" stamped on the inside edge of the handles. The sterling silver saucers are 3-9/16 inches in diameter. They are marked on the bottom WTH the Watrous "half moon and W" logo and also are stamped "STERLING PP 1". ORIGINAL STORAGE CASE INCLUDED BUT NEEDS REPAIR. It is lined with white satin and has recessed pockets to hold 8 cups and 8 saucers. Note again that this set includes six cups and six saucers, not eight. One of the six porcelain liners is chipped on the lip. The condition of the box itself is fair to poor. Its cardboard and fabric covers have almost entirely delaminated, and the top and bottom are no longer attached to the sides.The box would require extensive professional restoration to be useful.
