Art Deco Rosenthal Demitasse Cup & Saucer Cobalt Blue & Roses
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The ground color is deep cobalt blue although it looks black in the photos.. Medallions containing tiny hand painted roses decorate both pieces.
Delicate gilding accents the medallions. The handle and inside of the cup are gilded.
