Antique Rosenthal Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Cobalt Blue & Roses

  
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches.

The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are little ovals containing tiny pink roses and raise wreathes of raised gold. There are 6 on the cup and 9 on the saucer.

Fancy gilding separates the little ovals. The interior of the cup, handle and rims are trimmed with gold.
